Rohan and Kobus grew up in Welkom, South Africa, where their entrepreneurial journey began before most kids even thought about business. At just 11 and 10 years old, they were already running ventures together – among many, baking and selling fudge to friends, neighbours, and even local businesses. It was clear from the start: they were born entrepreneurs.

After finishing school, the brothers launched an IT support company (RK Technologies) in Midrand, Johannesburg, which they successfully ran for 10 years before selling it. That sale sparked a new chapter – one that would shape their future. They founded Find In Africa, an online advertising company, where they helped hundreds of businesses grow through digital visibility. Eventually, the business was acquired, but their passion for helping companies succeed online only grew stronger.

During this time, Rohan began experimenting with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) – the art and science of getting websites to rank #1 on Google. He quickly became one of the first SEO experts in the world, and arguably the first in South Africa.

In 2009, he launched SEO Studio, a company still going strong today. Through this, Rohan realized a critical truth: service-based businesses need a constant stream of leads to survive and grow – but most don’t know how to generate them. It’s technical. It’s time-consuming. And often expensive.

That’s when the brothers doubled down and started solving the problem themselves.
